Caernarvon School will remain a closed boundary school in the Regular Program for the 2023-2024 School Year. Only students who live within the Designated Attendance Boundary will be accepted to the school. The Kindergarten Open House will be held February 28, 2023 at 6:00 pm. (children must be 5 years of age by December 31, 2023)

Caernarvon School is full in planned classes for the 2022-2023 School Year in:

    • Kindergarten in the Chinese (Bilingual) program
    • Grades 1, 2. 3 and 4 in the Regular program

For the Regular program, a Kindergarten student who is a resident lives in the attendance area may still register. We will now only accept resident students in Grades 1, 2, 3 and 4 in the Regular program who have newly moved into the school's attendance area. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.

If you are registering for Kindergarten (children must be 5 by December 31, 2022) or if you are new to Edmonton Public Schools you must register online. Visit the Division website to learn how to register for school

Principal's Message

Welcome to Caernarvon where we work hard to assist all our students in becoming responsible, cooperative and contributing citizens. Cultivating good work habits, positive attitudes, and strong social skills are a priority for us and are vital in helping all our students feel successful and make the gains they're capable of. Through our collaborative efforts, we ensure the school year is engaging, challenging, successful and safe, helping to pave the way for a bright and successful future for all.

Success requires that we all work together in a cooperative, respectful manner and that we communicate our wishes and concerns to one another in a timely manner.  We work hard to ensure that all our families feel welcomed, respected, accepted and supported at Caernarvon School.  Throughout the school year parents are encouraged to keep lines of communication open by contacting teachers or the office (780-456-7020) for any needed information or to discuss any classroom concerns.

We look forward to working with you to ensure a terrific and rewarding school year for all.

Tammy Murray, Principal.
