Parent Groups

School Council and Parents Caernarvon Parent Association: 

All parents are members of the Caernarvon School Council. The executive of the School Council is elected in the spring every year. The School Council plays an important role by providing advice, consultation and assistance to the school principal and trustees regarding educational issues.

The aim of school councils, as well as other types of school involvement programs, is to develop a dynamic, co-operative and exciting partnership. Meetings are held regularly and will be announced in the school newsletter. The Caernarvon Parents Association works together with the School Council mainly to raise funds. Meetings are held regularly. 

All parents and guardians of Caernarvon School students are encouraged to attend and participate in Parent Association activities.  

Edmonton Chinese Bilingual Education Association:

Parents of students enrolled in the Mandarin Bilingual Program automatically belong to this association. Meetings are held regularly every month at various schools where the Mandarin Bilingual program are offered. Parents are always welcome to attend.
