    Pre-Enrolment and Registration

    STUDENT REGISTRATION

    Caernarvon School will remain a closed boundary school in the Regular Program for the 2025-2026 School Year.  As outlined in the Division Regulations, the Only new students accepted to our school in the Regular Program are: 

    1. Resident Students who live within the designated attendance area. 

    2. Siblings of current students in the Regular Program who will be returning to the school the following year.

    If you are registering for Kindergarten or are new to Edmonton Public Schools and you meet these criteria for the 2025-2026 school year, please visit the Division website to learn how to register for school. You will need a birth certificate and two documents showing proof of address at the time of registration.
    Please note: there is No Open House for the Regular Program - all students must live within the Designated Attendance Boundary. 

    Following the close of pre-enrolment at 4 pm on March 19, 2025, the school will only accept resident students who have newly moved into the attendance area or resident students eligible for Kindergarten.

    For the 2024-2025 school year, Caernarvon School is full in planned classes in Grades 3 and 5 in the Chinese (Mandarin) Bilingual program.  We will no longer accept enrolment requests for these grade levels in this program.

CURRENT DIVISION STUDENTS PRE-ENROL

You will need to pre-enrol on SchoolZone to tell us the school you’d like your child to attend next year. Find important dates and deadlines and learn more about pre-enrolment, which opens at 8 a.m. on February 3.

At Caernarvon School, we provide quality learning experiences which meet the individual needs of students and opportunities that foster the development of the whole child while cultivating a joy of learning.  Experiences at Caernarvon school will build the foundation needed to have students become confident, responsible and contributing citizens of our world. 

We cherish our relationships with parents and appreciate their partnership.  At Caernarvon School, we believe that we can best achieve our goals by working collaboratively with our parents and greater community. With your continued support and partnership, I am confident we will experience great accomplishments and success.
